Postbox Presents began in London in 2023, while on maternity leave, making personalised keepsakes and trinkets. Between naps, I made custom pieces for friends. What began as a cosy, cluttered hobby slowly hummed into something more: people loved the unexpected little details that made a present feel like it had been made just for them.

When we moved back home to Melbourne, that tinkering spirit came with us. Postbox Presents moved from a London kitchen table, and the focus shifted from one-off personalised items to thoughtfully curated gift boxes that do the heavy lifting for gift-givers. Each box is a little narrative: a dash of local flavour, a wink of playfulness, and the kind of considered touches that make someone say, “Who on earth knew I needed this?” We find fun treasures, add handmade items, and pack each order with the same care I used for my first keepsakes.

Now Postbox Presents is the gift box business it is today — cheeky, charming and quietly clever. We make giving feel easy and memorable, whether it’s to welcome a bub, celebrate a mate, soothe someone doing it tough, or simply say “you’re a legend.” Everything we do is rooted in that original experiment: personal touches and a sprinkle of Aussie warmth.
